About Margarita
I’ve always been drawn to the in-between spaces—the intersection of art and movement, community and solitude, structure and spontaneity. Whether I’m carving a linocut print, freediving beneath the waves, or organizing an event that brings people together, I’m happiest when I’m creating something meaningful.
Storytelling is at the core of everything I do. Sometimes that means crafting a visual narrative through photography, other times it’s writing, curating experiences, or sharing quiet moments that speak for themselves. I love projects that build connection—between people, ideas, and the natural world.
I studied International Business and Rhetoric & Writing at San Diego State University, drawn to how words shape perception and how cultures exchange meaning. Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from social media strategy to community events, collaborating with artists and brands that align with my values. I also run an Etsy shop where I sell handmade seaweed earrings and printmaking art—a reflection of my love for the ocean and the tactile process of making things by hand.
Outside of my creative work, I find home in movement—climbing, freediving, swimming in cold water to feel alive. These moments remind me that meaning isn’t always found in achievement, but in the quiet spaces between.
My work has been featured in Glorious Sport Magazine and Bold Journey Magazine, but what matters most to me is that it resonates with people in a real way. At the end of the day, I just want to keep making, exploring, and bringing people together through the things I create. Thank you for being here!
